frederick, jefferson and points to the northwest. that includes the panhandle of maryland and west virginia. that is until 11:00 p.m. the could be some precipitation mixed in the brain until 11:00 a.m. we have areas of rain. it is scattered in nature. it is in warren 10 and up towards winchester. western maryland is where we could have a light, which remix right now. that said, it should be minimal. as of now, i have not seen any reports of winter precipitation. note freezing rain falling yet. if you encounter freezing rain, let me know about it. i do not have eyes everywhere.

be careful as you head out on the road this morning. >> thank you so much. a woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in alexandria. it happened about 10:30 last night. she was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. the car that hit her stay at the scene. the incident is under investigation. a fire heavily damaged a home. our helicopter was over the scene. the fire broke out at around 2:00 p.m. it took firefighters half an hour to bring it under control. no one was injured. parts of our region are under a winter weather advisory, but it is nothing like al west where heavy snow is causing big problems.

the turkey is in the oven. the -- it is thanksgiving. it is a good morning. it is very early. we do anticipate some wet roads. there are showers throughout the region. we talked about this a little bit yesterday. the recession turns -- there were some concerns about mixed precipitation. we could have some isolated sleet and or freezing rain until 11:00 a.m. we are not expecting any accumulation out of that. so far i do not have any reports of any winter precipitation with the rain. hagerstown all the way down to frederick all the way to gaithersburg, germantown, moving
into prince william county. that is where you run into most of the active weather. the rain should be clustered north of our region by noon today. this is what the computer is finding. the jazz within our algorithms that there could be some winter wheat mix. threentery mix. there are some notes and crannies of rows of low lying areas. there could be some exceptions, but for the most part, we are above freezing. we should remain above freezing for the morning. temperatures are going to rise tonight. we will end up about -- temperatures will rise through the night into the 50's and remained there tomorrow morning. a cold front is moving in, giving us another chance for showers.
